- The Color Picker above makes it quick and convenient to find the color that you are looking for by visually letting you find the color that you are looking for for within the color wheel.
- By hovering over the color wheel, the rectangular box will display the current color that you are hovering over and the left text box below that will display the color hex code for usage.
- By clicking on the color wheel above, the color that you are hovering over will be added to the lower right text box as a color hex code that can then be copied and used on most applications to select that color that you found.
- Screens are starting to be able to display more different colors with most screens capable of displaying more than 16 million different colors.
- The hex codes generated by the Color Picker tool are web-safe colors that can be displayed in all browsers and will display accurately across most screens.
- A hex color code starts with a number symbol (#) and then has 6 characters that are hexadecimal (0-9, A-F) with 2 of each character representing an amount of a color that is used from the RGB (Red, Green, and Blue) color space to makeup the color. Digital used RGB to create all of its normally colors whereas print uses CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black)
